We get numerous inquiries from people who want to use Lalim VCD Player in one way or another. Everyone wants to know: 1) what can I do with these software, and 2) what do I have to pay to license it? The answers are pretty simple: 1) whatever your creativity can pull off, and 2) it depends on how you use it.
There are five versions of Lalim software available for license.

Lalim® software may be used for personal use at no cost. However if you want to distribute it with auto run VCD , you need to pay a fee for US250.00
You can purchase through Regsoft, An email with zip password and download link will be sent to you to unzip for the license copy of VCD Player. This copy will not show a nag screen when run from cd-rom.

Anything other than personal use falls into the category of commercial use. (The Magazines categories are exceptions to this, as noted below.) Commercial use is not free, and you will have to talk to us to get a license to use Lalim software for commercial purposes. The cost of a commercial license can vary depending upon how you use the software, but we try to make it reasonable for you, whether you are a large commercial company or a small entrepreneur just starting on the web. When in doubt about whether or not what you're doing is "commercial use," write us and ask. But as some general guidelines, if you're making money directly or indirectly from Lalim software, or in some capacity within your business, it's probably commercial use.
The distribution license fee for commercial is US250.00 . You can use / choose your own title to replace the software's original title. For example you can use the title "Video Postcard Player" instead of "Lalim VCD Player" . Inside the software's about box , your company name and address will be printed, see below screen shot:
If you want to re-distribute Lalim® software for any reason, you definitely need to check with us. Write us and tell us what you want to do.
The second exception to the commercial use terms is for magazine publishers who want to include the Lalim software as part of software distributions packaged with their magazine issues. If you are a magazine publisher, you are free to distribute the latest version of Lalim® software with your magazine . We require that a copy of the issue to be sent to our address at :
